  RPCVs Larry Geiter and Allan Seigel  volunteer at the Feeding South Florida warehouse in Pembroke Park on most Thursdays.

  
  

  RPCVSF has a team that volunteers as a group on the third Saturday of each month.

  
  

  Please contact Larry Geiter or Allan Siegel by Thursday before the Saturday you wish to volunteer to join in with the Saturday team.

• Sendoff Picnic for new PCVs

  Besides a dish and your family, please consider bringing photos from your PC service.   You’ll enjoy talking with the upcoming volunteers and their families as much as they will appreciate the tips, reassurances and well-wishing from you.

  
  

  The afternoon’s itinerary:

  2:00 – 4:00 pm 

  Enjoy visiting with invitees, their families and your fellow RPCVS.

  Bring photos of your service days to share.

  Drinks and snacks will be provided. ​

   

  There are also nature trails, a pool, a playground and space around the shelter if you'd like to bring outdoor games. ​ ​You are welcome to come earlier to enjoy the amenities.  The shelter is ours from 10 AM to 6 PM.

   

  4:00 - 5:30 pm

  Honor the upcoming PCVs with remarks from PC Recruiter Taylor Majher and RPCVSF President Dave Garcia.

  Share a potluck meal including “country of service” dishes brought by RPCVs.  Dave will also grill burgers, hotdogs, chicken, etc.

   

  Park rules: The use of alcoholic beverages (except beer) is prohibited. No glass bottles or containers are permitted. The use of polystyrene (Styrofoam) products is prohibited.
