Peace Corps Week Begins March 1st. Come join us in a celebration of volunteers and their continues work around the world and in our community. Featuring TCP GLobal. Incubated by RPCVSF in 2000, the success of The Colombia Project was made possible thanks to RPCVSF support from 2000-2013. The project became independent in 2014 and added TCP Global to provide pro bono assistance to replicate its zero-overhead, sustainable micro-loan model in other countries, starting with Guatemala, Niger and Peru in 2015. The team of volunteers is presently working with Peace Corps RESPONSE Volunteers in Colombia to explore possibilities for implementing the TCP model with oversight by PCVs. The TCP Global team invites all RPCVSF members to come to this event to better understand what your support has meant to marginalized entrepreneurs in the developing world. RPCVSF members are asked to bring a finger-food appetizer or dessert to share. Free Valet Parking, Sangria, Beer, Wine and Appetizers. Showcase of programs and community partnerships. Accepting donations for micro-loan projects.
