Please join us for our annual RPCVSF membership retreat, Friday  September 6th to 8th in Key Largo at the Amoray Resort.

While two years ago Hurricane Irma caused us to cancel the 2017 retreat, ; last year and in past years we have had more than 70 RPCVs and their families and friends join us for a great weekend together. We hope you'll be with us this year.

We'll be staying at a waterfront resort with a small beach, with kayaking, sailing, snorkeling and SCUBA diving available. Reservations for Friday and Saturday night can be made directly with the resort: (305) 451-3595 or http://www.amoray.com/

Be sure to tell them you are with the Peace Corps Volunteers group so you will get a 20% discount off the room rate. If you want to share a room please let us know and we'll try to match you with a roommate for the weekend. If you want a one or two bedroom suite with a kitchen, we recommend that you book early. Please note that the resort requires payment for one night at the time of making the reservation. You can see their policy at the end of this page.

Kids are very welcome - we usually have at least a dozen kids of all ages.

For those who arrive on Friday evening, we'll watch the sunset and gather for some pizza and drinks from the famous "Tower of Pizza" in Key Largo at 6:30 pm - everyone is welcome to attend.

On Saturday morning, we'll serve hot breakfast and then gather at 11:00 am at the Resort's group picnic area at the waterfront for introductions. Saturday afternoon is free time for kayaking, swimming, snorkeling or hanging out in hammocks by the water.

Saturday noon: RPCVSF Board of Directors meeting - all RPCVSF members are welcome to attend. Lunch will be served at approx 1 pm.

We'll end the day with a group cookout dinner at approx. 6 pm on Saturday evening, with some great RPCV story telling.

We'll bring all the food for Saturday's breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks and drinks for the afternoon - we ask that you contribute an amount to be determined to cover the costs, for 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning. It is BYOB if you want an adult beverage.

Sunday Morning Relaxing breakfast, plus swimming, snorkeling and diving options - the boat leaves at 8:30 am (snorkelers/divers, please reserve a place on the boat with the Resort, at an additional cost).

The Retreat will be held rain or SHINE - the Resort has lots of covered porches and patios.

If you have questions about the Retreat, please contact RPCVSF President Willie at william.kotas@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you in the Keys!
