Please join us for a delicious Korean barbecue including a variety of side dishes, meats, and vegetarian options - including kimchi and other Korean favorites at Shilla restaurant on Saturday, February 25, at 5 pm.
We will be featuring a presentation by Tim (Korea, '67-'73) and Hyon O'Brien (language instructor, PC Korea, '69-'73) with a brief introduction to Korean history and culture, stories about their adventures in Korea, and information about Korea's own version of the Peace Corps - plus a discussion of current events in Korea.
A buffet-style dinner, including tax and tip, is $35. Drinks are extra.
Included in the $35 is a $10 per person donation that is matched by RPCVSF, and will be donated to a project of a currently serving Peace Corps Volunteer. The project will be selected at the dinner, and we'll follow the progress of that project by posting photos and reports from the PCV on our website. To register for the dinner, please click here: Partnership Dinner - Korean.
If you cannot attend and would like to support our donation to the Peace Corps Partnership Project of a currently serving PCV, please visit our donations page and let us know that your donation is for the Feb. 25 dinner: Donations and/or Other Payments
