Please join us for our Annual General Meeting of the Membership of RPCVSF (known as our "AGM"), on Saturday, Oct. 22. One of our RPCVSF Members, Marty Mueller (Libya '68-'70, Peace Corps Director - Cote d'Ivoire '00-'02, PCD - Haiti '02-'05) is President of the Board of Directors of the Garden and graciously arranged for us to visit this beautiful facility.

We'll meet from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and serve a hot buffet lunch. The cost is $30 for all you can eat. (For those who can afford to pay more, please let us know and we will accept your $5 extra donation toward the complimentary tickets we will provide to winners of our Service-Learning Award - see below). Pease feel free to come early - breakfast bagels, fruit and coffee will be available starting at 10:30 am and you can walk through the Garden to enjoy the flowering trees, orchids, Japanese Garden, water features, palms, native plants and edible garden.

At our AGM you'll hear about our many RPCVSF activities and projects, and you'll also hear an update from the Peace Corps. At the end of our meeting we will present the 2016 Spirit of Service-Learning Awards to wonderful educators from K-12 grades and higher learning institutions. For more information about our Spirit of Service-Learning Awards please click here: Spirit of Service Learning Award. If you would like to donate $5 (or another amount) toward our Spirit of Service-Learning Award, please click here: Donations and/or Other Payments.

Also, our RPCVSF Fair Trade Market will be open and offering great products from around the world - just in time for early holiday shopping. More details about the Market are here: Fair Trade Market.

Please plan to attend the AGM, meet your RPCV friends, and find out more about our group and the many ways you can engage in our fun activities and help lead our group as we continue to grow.

Note: Please allow plenty of time for driving to the Garden if you are coming from the mainland - Miami Beach sometimes has heavy traffic to/from the island. Parking for the Garden is at the meters along the street or the public parking garage two blocks away at Convention Center Drive and 17th St. (parking is $1/hour).
