Join RPCVSF at Greynolds Park in NE Miami-Dade to enjoy a picnic, walking the trails, exploring the castle and other activities at the park, or just relax and chat with old and new friends. Bring your family!
Details: We have rented Pavilion #3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The grill will fire-up at 12:30 for lunch. Use the shelter as long as you want between those hours.
Bring a dish to share and a beverage* for you. RPCVSF will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, requisite buns, condiments, charcoal for the grill and grilling utensils. We will also have water, lemonade and iced tea. There is no electricity or running water at the shelter, but there are restrooms nearby. You can bring a lawn chair to relax or for more elbow room if the picnic tables are in heavy use.
Directions: Greynolds Park is on W. Dixie Highway, which is West of US 1. Please use the main entrance, which is on the NW side of the park. Pavilion 3 is a short drive from the entrance. The road will curve to the right and then to the left. We're the first one on the left after the second turn. It's set back from the road, but not far. This is an area with nice shade.
