We'll meet in the morning at the Nature and Welcome Center - no later than 9:00 am. If you need to rent a kayak, please arrive no later than 8:30 am because this is a very popular location.

For those who are bringing their own kayak, make a left turn just before the Nature Center parking lot and you will launch your kayak from that location.
After everyone has their kayaks in the water, we'll paddle to a swimming area on the Intracoastal Waterway, have our picnic lunch there, and then paddle back around noon or 1:00. After paddling, or as an alternative, folks can walk (15 minutes) or take a tram ride across a boardwalk to the oceanfront beach.
This is a very family-friendly event - the Park has a playground, lots of beaches and picnic areas.
