for more information.
The purpose of this event is to encourage additional collaborations between Rotary and RPCVs, strengthen connections with FIU Peace Corps Prep, raise funds for new micro-loan programs like the ones starting in Niger and Guatemala and update Colombia Project supporters.
The Colombia Project
was created by RPCVSF in 2000, became independent in 2014 and added
TCP Global
to provide pro bono assistance to replicate its successful micro-loan model in other countries. Each dollar donated for micro-loans over the last 7 years has already been invested 4 times in Colombia and TCP Global seeks to replicate the program in other countries. This success was made possible thanks to RPCVSF support from 2000-2013. The TCP Global team hopes that RPCVSF members will come to the event to better understand what your support has meant to marginalized entrepreneurs in Colombia and learn about TCP Global’s plans to create sustainable loan programs in additional countries, possibly even in
your
Peace Corps country of service.
