WRD Letter to Community Partners.pdf

May 29th, 2024

Dear Returned Peace Corps Volunteers,

We hope this letter finds you and your organization well. It’s that time of year again, when Refugee Assistance Alliance joins hands with some of our community partners to organize and throw our biggest party of the year to celebrate World Refugee Day!

This year, the party is on June 8th at CB Smith Park in Broward County, and all refugee families up and down South Florida are invited to attend.

We have teamed up with Church World Service, One Afghanistan, Jewish Community Services, and Community Changemakers to put on this event. We would like to invite you, your family, and others from your organization to attend the party, and ask you to consider sponsoring the party as part of our participating donor organizations. There is no pressure to sponsor, and we sincerely hope you’ll come as our guests regardless.

Refugee Assistance Alliance , a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, assists the most vulnerable refugee families in South Florida to navigate their lives in their new homeland. All donations are tax deductible, and our non-profit status can be verified by utilizing RAA’s EIN number: 82-3429406.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the event and look forward to celebrating with you and your family at the party, if you can make it. Thank you for your consideration.

Warmly,

Jamie Scotti Everett Executive Director
Refugee Assistance Alliance
