The number of participants is limited to 15 so reserve your spot as soon as you can. This is a family-friendly event - our hosts have two toddlers, and children are welcome at their home.
Our purpose is not just eating, but conversation. Please bring a question in writing on a slip of paper, which will be deposited in a bowl. During the course of the event, everyone will take one question and share their answer to the question. The point of this is really for us all to have a chance to get to know each other a bit better than our typical events allow for. Your question can be serious, playful, philosophical or sardonic. The answers are always enlightening and surprising, and we learn a little more about who we were, who we are, and who we want to be.
This is the third event in this series; the first was a Korean bulgogi lunch hosted by Sue Trone (Georgia 2005) and prepared by Hyon O’Brien (Korea language instructor 1969-73), followed by an Indian lunch hosted and prepared by Subrata Basu (Belize 2011-14).
We also are looking for hosts and/or chefs for future events. If you are interested, please contact Hyon O'Brien at hyonobrien@gmail.com 786-327-9200.
Specific directions to Renee and Corey's home will be provided when we confirm your registration.
Hope to see you there!
